"For more than 10 years, we have been coming to Fethiye every year and regularly visit the fish market. We realise that this market is very tourist-oriented, but nevertheless, we love coming here because the food is great. This is a nice place for fish lovers. This year, we wanted to try a new place and, based on reviews, ended up at Oztoklu restaurant. This one is more remote than the central one (in the fruit and vegetable section), but the food is at a high level. Hasan Bey and his colleagues gave us excellent service. In the central section, we had bought 1 kg of jumbo shrimps ourselves (caught in the Fethiye area) and they fried it for 300TL for us. They do this according to their own recipe in a sauce that includes lemon, thyme, etc. Besides the mezes, we also ate squid according to their own recipe. Hasan Bey and his cook were extremely nice and our son was allowed to look into the kitchen himself and even help out for a while. Don't be fooled by the crowds in the central area, where you will be aggressively approached to join them for dinner. Above all, ignore this and give Oztoklu the benefit of the doubt. You will see that you will not be disappointed!"

"Staying locally, so chose to eat here from the remotes on here. We ate what was recommended- prawns and calamari starters and local grilled fish with salad for main. Fresh and delicious. I got a complimentary dessert as it is my birthday! Restaurant is tucked away next to a vegetable market- but a great spot for a relaxed evening. It’s family owned and all the staff are keen to speak with customers."

"Lovely family run place. The owner was so friendly and helpful... Even helped us find where to buy apple tea! Garlic prawns were good, especially when you dunked it's sauce with the chargrilles bread. Fish was fresh, although I must admit I had to add a little salt to mine. Salad was the best we had in turkey. Prices affordable"

"AMAZING! I never write reviews but I rely so heavily on them and this place needs a shout out. We found it on google with high reviews so thought we would give it a try. To be very honest once we got there we almost turned around. It’s the only restaurant amongst a fruit store and we were the only people sitting. But we stayed and gave it a shot and we are so glad we did. Staff were lovely. Food was great. I had the garlic prawns and my partner had the grilled squid. It came with bread and salad and was plenty to feed us both. If we were staying longer we would go back and try the fish! Sometimes the most unassuming places are the best. Definitely give this place a try! I have also added pictures of the menu."

"Being somewhat overwhelmed with the hawkers at the fish market restaurants, and less than impressed with approach and reviews, we snuck around the corner and found this much more pleasant restaurant. Everything was excellent and we had a lovely meal complete with an engaging owner. The shrimp appetizer’s were outstanding and cooked perfectly; so often they are overdone. The fish was filleted brilliantly and also cooked to perfection. Look for a follow-up, as we will most certainly go back to this great little restaurant."
